Like a god of the deep sea, the whale brings prosperity to the ocean for centuries with its fall. Death is not the end of life but the beginning of a new one. Whale's blood and fesh were devoured by its believers. Countless sea creatures were given the hope of life by its corpse. It acts as the womb of the ocean thus new species are born.
But marine pollution has reversed all this. It is no longer nourishment in the belly of the whale, but plastic that is difficult to break down. It is no longer a bounty, but a deadly and unresolved poison wrapped in a package. The civilisation of the sea born of whale fall may thus perish.
