"Bargee!" is a new mid-range Chinese confectionery brand for young female consumers that we simulated and created as part of our undergraduate programme.
We took the long-established tea brand and expanded it to include tea snacks, desserts and other snacks that can be served with tea. By introducing a new type of afternoon tea that is more acceptable to young people, we are able to convey the culture of Chinese tea and change the stereotypical image that young people have of Chinese tea. "Bargee!" proposes to use the sound that comes out of people's mouths when they are happily enjoying their food, and to use trendy expressions to bring traditional pastries closer to modern young people.
In this group project, I was responsible for the illustration and packaging of the brand.
